Fellow Township Residents,

I’m John Guevara. I was our County Board member for District 3 through November 2024. I was also elected Chairman of the Roscoe Township Republican Central Committee last April at the Republican Party County Convention.

Township Supervisor Bob Nowicki and I sat down last August and he told me some of the bad choices he thought the current “Independent” board and asked if the Republican Party could do something.

I agreed that the waste and incompetence was unacceptable, and offered to meet with some of the “Independents,” to hear their side. In that meeting, I was told that the “Independents” were “fiscal conservatives,” who wanted to run as Republicans if I would make sure that no one could run against them. I told them no.

Bob got to work recruiting a team of Republicans to run and make Roscoe Township responsible again. When I was asked if I was interested in running, I remembered the difficulties he told me about our Township Highway Department, and agreed to run for Road Commissioner.

The Township Highway Department has 10 trucks. 4 of them don’t work. 3 of the remaining 6 broke down during the first snowfall this winter. This is unacceptable!

I served on the Public Works Committee of our County Board. I’m also endorsed by our previous Highway Commissioner, Matt Servant. I’m asking for you to vote for improving our Highway Department and vote for me.

Also, please cast your vote for the rest of our Roscoe Township Republican team on April 1st!

LET’S MAKE ROSCOE TOWNSHIP RESPONSIBLE AGAIN!
